About the Chalet
Chalet la Forêt is a luxury alpine home with spacious rooms and living area, a fully equipped kitchen and a sauna. Perfectly located at the heart of the Portes du Soleil, it is a few minutes walk from the Linga Telecabin which provides easy access to the snow sure slopes of Pre La Joux, Avoriaz and Champery, as well as Super Chatel, Morgins and Torgon. You can ski back to within a two minute walk from the chalet and there is a bus stop outside which provides easy access to the village centre, or the Intermarche supermarket by regular free buses. There are a number of bars and restaurants close by, including Le Renard, which is opposite and can provide guests with dinner in its restaurant.
The chalet can sleep up to 10 people in 2 twin rooms (one with two single beds, one with a double and single bed) and 3 double rooms, two of which have en suite bathrooms. The large open plan living area has plenty of space to relax in front of the fire
(wood is provided) and there is a dining area with a large table that can comfortably seat 10.
The fully equipped kitchen has a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, fondue set and a range cooker.
On the ground floor there is a Sauna, a utility room with ski and boot storage and a washing machine. There is a balcony and a large garden with a terraced area and there is parking for several cars. Regular snow clearing is provided to ensure easy access.
Chalet La Forêt
The chalet has the following facilities: 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a shower room/WC, a luxury kitchen and spacious open plan living area with wood burner. There is a large dining table which comfortably seats 10.
Outside there is a garden, a terrace & balcony and on the ground floor is a Sauna, a utility room with a washing machine and a large heated garage area to store ski gear.

Skiing (Winter)
Access to over 600km of piste across the Portes du Soleil. New lifts quickly connect Châtel to Avoriaz, Morgins & Champery. A piste map can be found below in a PDF format.
Hiking
Expert hiker? Or do you just want a casual stroll? There's something for you here in Châtel with hundreds of dedicated walks in the area.
Dans l'air
Ever wanted to fly? Check out the Fantasticable, a zip-wire between two mountains with speeds
reaching 100 kmh.
Biking
The biking here in Châtel is insane!There is even a Red Bull event in summer to get the adrenaline pumping.
Swimming
Fancy a lazy evening looking out onto mountains, check out the astonishing swimming pool at the Châtel sports centre and Spa.
Shopping
What's a holiday without any shopping? With either a 2 minute bus or 15 minute walk pop into Châtel to experience some Savoyard culture.

PRICING AND CONTACT
So that you have the most relaxing stay possible there is an obligatory charge for a full professional clean of the chalet, although guests are expected to leave the chalet tidy and dispose of rubbish etc. Change over day is Saturday and guests are welcome to arrive after 4pm and are requested to leave by 10am on the day of departure.
Bed linen and towels are provided and we can also provide a travel cot, a sterilizer and a high chair for infants. Other services, such as the provision of groceries or babysitting are available on request. Please contact us with any questions or to request a booking in accordance with the calendar above. On confirmation of booking guests will be asked to pay a 25% deposit. The final payment and a refundable security deposit of £500 is due 6 weeks before arrival.

Please contact me to discuss dates for Christmas 2022 as arrival on 22 or 23 Dec may be possible, with departure on 31st Dec.
Peak dates are 28 January to 25 February 2023
Standard dates are 25 February to 15 April 2023. Off Peak is all other weeks in the ski season.
The Summer Season price is £1,820 per week, plus £180 cleaning fee. Tourism tax of approx. 5% is also chargeable on a per person basis and will be confirmed at time of booking.
